The post-COVID economic climate has resulted in supply chain instability. 

In order to continue to reliably source products, StatLab has incurred multiple supply chain cost increases across the board, from shipping containers to diversifying shipping methods to ensure raw material delivery. Simply put, it costs far more in 2021 to supply products that we've reliably offered for the past 40 years.

Beginning August 16th, StatLab will be applying a Supply Chain Surcharge as a line item on each order placed. We know that you will ask if this is absolutely necessary—before you do, we want you to know that we have asked ourselves the same. To each other, multiple times. With freight-in costs increasing 20% and shipping containers soaring to unprecedented prices, the answer is yes.

One thing we've learned from the past 18 months of doing business is that while we can't see the future, we can rely on each other. Laboratories, histotechs, pathologists, patients, suppliers, manufacturers. We are all connected, and navigating together. We're on your team.
