Since we started in 1976, we’ve added products—and resources—to help your lab deliver the highest quality of patient care possible while becoming more efficient and cost-effective. Sustainable Packaging
Equipment and consumables come in recyclable green carboard packaging, and we improved cold ship packaging for longer lasting temperatures and reduced waste.
Green Distribution
In 2022, we implemented a new logistics system to coordinate most efficient routes and deliveries from our warehouse to the your lab's door.
Green Solutions
Non-hazardous options for ‘Greener Chemistry' in labs and decreasing single use plastics to reduce our carbon footprint by locally manufacturing product and sourcing raw materials.
Product Development
Our Research and Development team are evaluating and designing products that are environment and histo-tech safe.
Cardboard Cassette Threads
We've swapped the plastic cassette threads and switched to specialist cardboard. As they're made from pulp consisting of cellulose, hemicellulose and some lignin, the threads are fully biodegradable.

Paper Reduction
Across our sites in the USA, UK, and Europe, we are taking initiative to reduce the use of plastics and papers in our packaging and in our offices. Packing slips now come as stickers on packaging to reduce waste and recycling is a large part of our business practices.
Training & Education
Employees receive training and support on best environmentally friendly practices.
Need to return a product?
Initiate a return using the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form below within 60 days of purchase, and unopened products can be returned for full credit on your account.
How is shipping handled? If you received the product in error, StatLab will pay return shipping fees. If you changed your mind after you purchased a product, you will pay return shipping fees.
The first step is simple. Fill out the RMA form below, including as much information as possible.
Once notification is received, you will be contacted by Customer Service to coordinate next steps or return shipping.
When the product is received, you will see a credit on your account within 30 days.

Having the ability to visualize the complete margins negates the need to mentally reconstruct the tissue and permits the use of zero magnification photographs.
