Treosin™

Slightly acidified combination of Eosin-Y with Orange-G and acid fuchsin. Suitable as replacement for routine eosin. Distinct shades of eosin easily obtained from bright red-orange (RBC’s and fibrin deposits), to bright red (collagen fibers and skeletal muscle), to red-pink (smooth muscle). In many cases Treosin™ could eliminate the need for trichrome staining. Excellent for frozen sections.
